Personel

When film-making and creating images, I consider an intuitive approach to narratives and a visually driven attitude towards subject matter. This allows me to work on a wide range of projects, scopes and compositions within creative departments.

I am intrigued by the delicate balance between artistic aspiration and entertainment, resulting in a broad spectrum of work, from intimate storytelling and working in close proximity to talent, to aesthetically sophisticated cinema and television.

Collaborating as a team to develop the vision for feature films and series, being open to and inspired by others‘ ideas, and exploring various cinematic approaches are the aspects of filmmaking that inspire me.

Alongside a methodical artistic approach, empathy and social skills are crucial to my process. No matter how diverse the creative paths may be, it is always the courage and willingness to take risks that result in a coordinated, innovative, and often unique visual language.

Since I graduated from film school in 2013, I quickly made a name for myself on the international stage as a cinematographer. Some of the commercials I shot won gold at the YDA in Cannes and ADC Switzerland, among others. Feature films and short films such as „Amoklove“, „Antons Fest“, „What´s Left Of My Life“ and „Die Hannas“ earned numerous awards and nominations at film festivals around the world. Among them Cameraimage, Filmfest München and Montreal Filmfestival. The international TV event series „The Swarm“ and „Concordia“ will be released worldwide and the latter will celebrate its world premiere at mipcom in Cannes 2023
